DESCRIPTION:Decatur County Memorial Hospital invites our community to join us for a Time Capsule Celebration ceremony! \nSince opening our doors on February 4\, 1922\, our hospital has grown from its original 16\,000-square-foot building to a comprehensive healthcare facility. Despite being in a small town\, our care and spirit rival those of major city organizations. Over the years\, we’ve undergone numerous remodels and expansions to better serve our community’s needs. \nThis celebration is not only to honor the outstanding contributions of our healthcare professionals but also to create a lasting legacy for future generations. By commemorating our rich history and the dedication of those who serve\, we ensure that the values and spirit of our institution continue to inspire and guide us. \nJoin us in celebrating our past\, present\, and future in healthcare! \nThe celebration and time capsule are located on the east side of the DCMH Walking Trail\, near the Remembrance Garden. The location can be accessed in two ways and the time capsule presentation will take place promptly at 12:10 p.m. on Monday\, August 19: \n\nNear Decatur County Primary Care\, 718 N.
