Future First Responder Summer Camp

Current 9th-12th graders at Decatur County or Greensburg Schools with an interest in EMS, Fire, or Law Enforcement are encouraged to take part in this three-day program!
Program Details:

- Hands-on, physically active experience for students interested in public safety careers
- Camp offered through collaboration between: Decatur County Memorial Hospital, Decatur County EMS, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, City of Greensburg Police Department, City of Greensburg Fire Department
- Participants will experience EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement training through interactive sessions and skill-based learning
- This is a very physically intensive program
- Participants will be outdoors and may get dirty or wet. Dress appropriately for activities.
- Participation is required for all three days
- Days 1 & 2: EMS, Fire, and Police Skill Development
- Day 3: Field Day
- Team-based event combining skills learned to test abilities in real-world scenarios

- Register by May 15, 2026 to receive a t-shirt
